Courses, seminars, workshops tailored to the need and demand of the community
We have a dedicated team offering guidance and answering the questions on specialist subjects. It is headed by our home-born Mufti Dilwar Hussain Hafidhahullah.
Mufti Dilwar Hussain Sahib, born and raised in Oldham, began his formal Islamic studies (‘Alimiyyah) at Al-Jamiatul Islamiyah Darul Uloom, Bolton, UK. During his time in the seminary, he studied Qur’anic exegesis (Tafsir), Hadith, jurisprudence (Fiqh), principles of Hadith and jurisprudence (Usul), classical Arabic, Islamic creed (‘Aqidah), and history among other subjects. He graduated in 2010, receiving authorizations (ijazahs) in various sciences and books including the six canonical books of Hadith (al-Kutub al-Sittah).
Thereafter, he travelled overseas to the renowned seminary, Madrasah ‘Arabiyya Islamiyya, Azaadville, in South Africa to pursue his studies further. He specialised in Fiqh and gained specialized training in answering legal questions (Iftaa) under the supervision of Mufti Mohammed Saeed Motara Sahib Hafidhahullah.
This was followed by a one-year intensive study of the sciences of Hadith (‘Uloom al-Hadith) under the tutelage of Mufti Mohammed Bana Sahib Hafidhahullah in Madrasah al‘Uloom al-Shar’iyyah, Benoni, South Africa.
After completing his formal studies, Mufti Dilwar began teaching the various sciences of Islam at Al-Jamiatul Islamiyah Darul Uloom, Bolton and still continues to do so.
In the meantime, Mufti Dilwar obtained a Level 3 Qualification in Counselling Skills through the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body.
